This weeks Sunday morning Reflections with E. Michelle Lee/ #RadioShow Host and Columnist; subject: “As it were”
Life as we know it can be changed in the twinkling of a moment at any moment. So you best not blink without trying to look. Doesn’t make sense does it? Think and dig a bit deeper. Sometimes we see things not with our eyes but with our hearts. Such as the times we remember or think of based on someone else’s memories of yester years and how things were back in the good ol days.

As I reflect back on this past week in search of solutions to use for the week to come so that we may be proficient, efficient, bearing fruit from our labor while earning a living and making a life; I think of the view of my World that I see and all of a sudden what was really important yesterday seemed not be so important today. I thought about Noah and what he must have thought we it came to all the people mocking and nay saying at him for one hundred and twenty years while he built the ark. I thought about the burden he must have felt for the people whom he knew were headed for their end. I thought of how Noah must have ached with each nail he hammered knowing these people would be lost because of their great turn away from God. Then came to me the scripture warning that as in the days of Noah so shall the days be of the coming of the Son of Man.
King James Version (KJV)
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Here’s the thing though, we have much more been given opportunity to SEE where we are today and know that the Comforter has come.
During this Memorial Day Weekend as we spend time remembering those whom have fought and died from serving our Great Country and Christian Nation; we can only hope and pray for those left behind to remember the rights and freedoms these men and women have died for us to have and to hold. We can only hope and pray that our people can see things “As we were” when we as One Nation Under God stood against the things that jeopardize our very existence as a Blessed Nation.
For as it was during the days of Noah, when God cleansed the earth of the overtly sinful people living in that day and time; He referenced seeing the same state of affairs in the last days before His return. As it were for Noah so is it today for many of us who know Him and look for His return. The days are wicked; but know that they are also numbered.
I don’t have to tell you all that is showing the Days of Noah in 2014; if you don’t SEE it already. Then my mention of it won’t help you any further. BUT if you can see and feel the stench of today’s crazy world of anything goes and compare it to the days of Noah, As it were; I believe you already know, He’s coming back for me and you sooner than others may think.
That’s part of the story’s message; God tells us what to do to be saved and how some mock and scorn or don’t even consider baffles me. Until the day is gone and it is too late; some will never SEE.
Mock and say what you will, but please consider your own personal need for a relationship with God first. Before it’s too late.
