Knowing what PR is and what PR is not is half the battle.

Constantly I reiterate to people that there is a difference between PR and Marketing. While one may serve the other and tools and skills are cross functional; PR and Marketing are still different.

In my article Posted on September 14, 2012 |Today’s Tip: “Understand What PR is before you Hire it” Today’s Definition “Public Relations”- by: Exceptions-PR With A Purpose- E Michelle Lee; I clearly gave the text book and industry heart definition and examples.

Problem is; not everyone has had the chance to read and learn from the info I provided. If they had; folks would be using the services of a PR oriented business to promulgate their messages and products.
