“Can I? May I? Shoulda-Woulda- Coulda Opportunities Missed-“”Sunday Mornin Reflections w/ E. Michelle Lee, PR With A Purpose

As I share my reflections with you each week on early Sunday Mornings before I head out to the best house on the street to meet; The Good Lord’s House. I hope to share some things with you that will help you have a better week next week.

Sunday Mornins is my time with you to encourage you to reflect on your past week and analyze it,to learn from it, and to better plan for your upcoming week.

Absorb and release- change-improve, move more efficiently to accomplish more than you expected from yourself last week. As you grow towards your goals this week coming think back to the week you just finished. Name 3 things that come to your mind right off the bat. Write them down in your journal.

Take time to reflect on your past weeks daily activities from work to play. Do it every week so you can keep trotting ahead like a champion.

Reflecting to projecting. That’s the way to make your life stronger, wiser, and to have a clearer site for your path ahead by breaking it down to one week at a time.

This weeks Sunday morning Reflections with: E. Michelle Lee/ subject: “Can I? May I? Shoulda-Woulda- Coulda Opportunities Missed-

Too often we miss some of the best opportunities of our lives because we can’t see them right before our eyes. And then sometimes we miss them because they are disguised in the midst of troubles. We miss them for various reasons and from fears within.  Still, we miss them flat out.  Unfortunately, the bigger problem is that we keep missing things that were sent to us to learn and grow and prosper us.

As I reflect back on this past week about the storms that hit Ohio that were as strong as Hurricane Ike and the damage that caused our Governor to declare a state of emergency; I see all the areas of weakness that I could improve upon to better prepare should something like that ever happens again.  Like being without electric for more than three days, more like 6 for me personally.  Out of electric means offline non activity for me; and that means loss of business. Ouch–  Thank God for the men and women of AEP who worked tiressly to restore over half a million people’s service here alone in Ohio.  No tellin what the total outage number tallied to when all was said and done.  Thank you!

Yet, had the storms not come; I would not have learned the many a valuable lessons that I have about the nature of people, the reliance on power, the physical endurance needed to be healthy enough to withstand changed terrain, and so much more all in one week mind you.  It’s been ruff friend; I ain’t gonna lie. No electric in the midst of a heat wave. Wow-

Even still, I recognized opportunities in the middle of it all as well as those I missed because of not seeing or hearing them.  Opportunities pass by as quickly as they come.  We have to be keen on our feet to make sure we have our ears tuned in and our eyes wide open and searching to respond.  Be ready for opportunities to come and believe that they will!

So, you see, when you learn to see opportunities even if they are cloaked through circumstances; you won’t miss anything that was meant for you.   Your week this week can be filled with so many more opportunities if you learn to see them and listen for them.

Song of the week: Marvin Sapp on Youtube

Have a blessed week and remember that your litmus test for how to see and hear when opportunity strikes, is to always be ready to see what you can learn and use to grow from in every instance of your life.
