Exceptions 4-29-12 Sunday Morning Reflections with E. Michelle Lee, this weeks subject: The Measure of Success: What is it?

As I share my reflections with you each week on early Sunday Mornings before I head out to the best house on the street to meet; The Good Lord’s House. I hope to share some things with you that will help you have a better week next week.

Sunday Mornins is my time with you to encourage you to reflect on your past week and analyze it, to better plan, for your upcoming week.

Absorb and release- change-improve, move more efficiently to accomplish more than you expected from yourself last week as you grow towards your goal this week coming.

Take time to reflect on your past weeks daily activities from work to play. Do it every week so you can keep trotting ahead like a champion.

Reflecting to projecting. That’s the way to make your life stronger, wiser, and to have a clearer site for your path ahead by breaking it down to one week at a time.

This weeks Sunday morning Reflections with: E. Michelle Lee/ subject: The Measure of Success:

What is it?

As I look back over this past weeks events from my personal life through my business; I see how important it is to others to measure others in front of many. Society often times tells us that if we are not this; we cannot be that.  Are ya with me? Let me help you out.

The problem with that is: “How they measure success and how you and me measure success is different”.

Whatever the perception/ perspective is; it is. Therefore, we as prudent people want the best outcome so we put ourselves to the test; their test or your own? What say’s you measure up?

Well, do you measure up?

To whom do you measure up?

What are you trying to measure up with?

Why do you want to measure up?

Where is it most important in your life to measure up?

How do you make sure you measure up where it counts?

Continuing reading for helpful tips and links to learning your life’s litmus test to measuring up to your goals, calling, and lest of all; others around you. Learn How to Measure UP where it counts…Booker T. Washington laid out his thoughts on the measuring stick of your life’s success this way:

Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.

Booker T. Washington (retrieved from Brainy Quotes.com)

Zig Zigglar say’,

“the way in which we measure success is within these 8 areas of life”:

Reasonably Prosperous

Peace of Mind

Good Family Relationships

E-How.com says it is this way:

personal success:

One of my fav’s from this article:

  • Determine how much your friends, family and coworkers respect you by distinguishing between being respected because of money and fame and being respected because of the amount of trust and honor you have earned.

INC.com say’s for project success Here are his six factors for measuring the success of a project:

Scripture:The Good Book say’s:

2 Corinthians 3

1Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?

So, when you are looking to see where you measure up and where you don’t look to first what and why it matters to you and to your purpose in life. In order for us to accomplish all that we are set out to do; we must know what matters to the whole thing and learn that it is within our design to measure up to the stick that the Good Lord create for each individual between them and their maker!
