As I share my reflections with you each week on early Sunday Mornings before I head out to the best house on the street to meet; the Good Lord’s House. It’s my time with you to encourage you to reflect on your past week and analyze it to better plan for your upcoming week. Absorb and release- change-improve, move efficiently to accomplish more than you expect as you grow towards your goal.
Reflecting to projecting. That’s the way to make your life stronger, wiser, and to have a clearer site for your path ahead by breaking it down to one week at a time.
This weeks Sunday morning Reflections with: E. Michelle Lee/ subject: Rejection- 4-8-2012
I am sure you have experienced being rejected in some form or fashion during some point of your life. Doesn’t feel so good, I know. But it is a necessary evil of life that many times serves a greater purpose. FEELING :
Don’t resent the times when you have been rejected. Learn how to receive them for your own learning and for positioning your next step in your journey; this boot camp we call LIFE.
Rejections help to place us in a place where we can prosper and trod our stride on the path that was already arranged for us long before we were even born.
Continuing reading to see how being rejected helps you to be projected to the place you were meant to serve your dream your life’s purpose. It takes Rejection for projection! Look at this man’s life to see proof.
Can you imagine how bad it would be to be rejected in front of hundreds, maybe even thousands?
That would surely get an ” OMG”.
Remember that sales call for your business you were making that instantly hung up on you before you even opened your mouth? How bout that group of ladies you wanted to chat with but wouldn’t let you in their crowd. OR, how bout that golf league at your country club that just flat out said, “NO” to letting you join them even though they only had 11 and not 12 players for the foursome on Sunday afternoons?
Maybe it was worse than that for you. Maybe your proposal got rejected by a potential corporate account. Maybe it was during your board presentation of the plan and they chopped it up like the Shark Tank does on TV? OH, here’s a good one, maybe it was when you took a long time to find a “gift for a friend”. And when you gave it to them; they complained, smirked, or smudged and then rejected the gift?
So now you got the picture of the type of rejection I am talking about that scars deep? See here how this man’s life represents the worse rejection that the world has ever known.
A known scholar of his time, as promulgated by his peers; respected men of their society’s time. I think having 12 respected authorities, dignitaries, business owners, and community pillars is good enough for me to believe that this man was legit. He was widely rejected as much as he was respected. While being projected all due to his resurrection power; He used the rejection to save us all. He has instilled in each of us the ability to have the same blessing of being set back for a set up through rejection to projection.
They all rejected Him, whom they feared, for His “Big Picture Thinker” ways and doings. Umm that would be all the wonderful miracles He performed when He saw the need. “Often” He told those whom He healed to, “Go your way and speak this to no one”; just know what He knew they would do. Tell everyone.
Even still as Jesus continually went about doing the things that were the unexpected during His time here on earth, God in the flesh as the son of “Man”. Many groups of people despised Him, who knew no sin. They mocked Him, spat on him, talked ill of Him, and did horrible things to Him. Rejection was all around Him. And sadly enough, it is still today. Even worse, He is nearly forgotten by many who say Holy Holy Holy.
If you don’t already know the story of Jesus who died on the cross for the sins of the world. Today, is the day, to know Him who has sacrificed himself for you and for me. So that we may live in accordance to His Word and plan for our lives; He died on the cross and rose again on the third day as the stone was rolled away by angels. He who knew no sin gave you and me a way in grace and mercy to live without a blemish. His blood, sweat, tears, wounds, and rejection made the way for me and you to have our sins covered for ever. Jesus sacrificed His life for the greater good of all people in all that is His. That’s what this day we call Easter is all about. NOt just the little, cute hoppiddy hop furry friend.
Without the REJECTION all would have been lost for the hope of the World.
Jesus as a Man in his human nature, was a wise man who totally surrendered his spirit, mind, body, and soul to God the divine nature. He did this so that we may have an example to follow. He would not have given us such great detail in His Word if He had not intended for us to follow it the best way we could learn how.
He gave his life so that you and I could live more abundantly without any other sacrifices being needed to cover the sin of man. He became the ultimate sacrifice, “The Lamb of God”. His death ended the Old Testament Law of sacrifice. When He rose again on the third day after death; He had taken the keys to hell and over sickness and disease. By His strips are we already healed; if we would only believe.
Rejection- you know no rejection until you have walked in this man’s shoes/ sandals. But, it had to happen for things to come about. Without the Rejection there would have been no projection.
Rejection helps us to prepare better for coming success. It may be painful, but this too shall pass. It requires sacrifice. As does any goal we want to achieve in life. Facts is the facts. No pain No gain- else why would it be worth the effort? Nothing truly, is ever free, if its worth anything , you know that. And nothing that is good for all will go unaffected in the world as we know it today, as Jesus knew it yesterday, and He who will know it for ever more. Rejection molds our future success and life; it’s part of our natural expectancy in life. Welcome it openly as He did; for it is for the greater good of all human kind. That’s the kind accomplishments that gets remembered. Ones that require great sacrifices on our part.
This day represents a man who in divine nature was God in the flesh amongst men who did not understand this act must happen for us to have the promise of salvation when He rose again.
Today He Lives Open your hearts to rid the rejection of the greatest love of all brought to you by your Creator and savior Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord who has risen again to live for ever more in your hearts and from the ends of the earth to the lilies of the valley to the streets of gold- He is alive and well within your soul, invite Him in so that you too may know the peace of God and be saved by His Grace & Mercy. Without Him none shall see heaven nor can they be saved.
Easter Celebration is for the entire world’s hope for tomorrow. Celebrate God today and thank Him for sending His Son to die for our sins so that we might put our hope in Him.
Have a good week. Enjoy your day with your family, friends, and especially with God during a day of rest. Cus, MOnday morning work busy week comes far too soon.
Get ready and make your week exciting!
