As I share my reflections with you each week on early Sunday Mornings before I head out to the best house on the street to meet; the Good Lord’s House. It’s my time with you to encourage you to reflect on your past week and analyze it to better plan for your upcoming week. Absorb and release- change-improve, move efficiently to accomplish more that you expect as you grow towards your goal.
That’s the way to make your life stronger, wiser, and to have a clearer sight for your path ahead one week at a time.
This past week as the excitement soared with several projects that I am working on; I noticed one key theme in all of them. Each project, professional and personal ones, have the opportunity to feed the masses with knowledge, resources, and mentorship for those who I serve. Yet, as the tasks swirled about like a rushing wind, the set goal we set to reach was perceived in variation that it caused the moment to be nearly lost. No worries it was saved.
But, in parable to the perceptions for natural workings like the projects mentioned above; I liken today’s “Verse of the Day” received in my email inbox everyday from BibleGateWay.com to clear messages and those caught up in the excitement of our days.
Keep reading to reflect on your week and plan for your week to come with a touching story from E. Michelle Lee, from PR With A Purpose…………
While many of us are having a playful day of pranks on those close to us today; having fun joshin around with folks in celebration of April Fools Day; April 1st of every year. There are some of us whom have been reminded that only a Fool does not believe in God.
I would image that the wonderful folks over at http://www.BibleGateway.com used Psalm 14: 1 for today’s featured Verse of the day to propagate the message that only the unbelieving fools would not believe in a God so gracious and full of mercy.
Hear me tell it, now I said hear me ya’ll. Be ye forewarned. While He is a mighty God of love; He is equally a Mighty God of Valorous Acts. The God who is the same yesterday, today, and for ever more. Who will not budge when it comes to His Word, that He has given us, by divine inspiration, to live and walk, our daily lives by, to the best of our ability. And for the rest when we don’t nor could ever measure up to par; be thankful for His Grace and Mercy covered by the blood of Jesus who hang on that cross for your and my sins. WHEW, I said it all in one breath. to say this: You can’t have the perks if you’re not covered by the employer as HIS…
N0w this one takes the cake. Normally when I use a pic from BING.com I usually just put a line at the end of my blog, paying my homage, to the creators of each of those pics. But today, is different. Today I want to provide you with the biggest April’s Fools Day prank of them all and I want to thank the Josiah Concept for freely posting and allowing this picture to be used by the blog.
There is NO GOD—
APRIL FOOL’S- ha hha haaa for the fools who believe that.
Oh I will not say whether or not you do or do not believe there is a God and then call you a fool. For the Good Book tells us to be careful with fools in our dealings with them at all times.
IN fact the bible mentions the word or a derivative of it, “Fool” 189 times in verses to tell us how to deal with fools and stay away from them. They come in all sizes, shapes, and colors. To the world; we have our own share of them in this present day who acclaim there is no God; don’t listen to that rhetoric.
Wow, so there is something to said to be dealing with fools on any level in our professional and personal lives. I would much rather live and work with someone who at the very least believes there is a God who created each and every one of us than someone who doesn’t.
Sometimes the people whom we chose to live with, work with, and just plain ol hang around with; stress us so bad because of the way in which they believe in God and life in general. Their perceptions are different in every situation no matter what you do or do not do. Therefore, if you want to project a week of your work and play in the right direction; first you need to make sure the people you have in your life are from a balance of believers and non believers. We are told not to avoid interactions with folks that do not believe. We are told to love them even more and be helpful to the max. We just need to remain separate from their foolishness while we stand to believe; it all comes from God.
So in parallel to the parable of perceptions for this weeks Sunday Reflection with E. Michelle Lee, This is NOT for April’s Fools, For there is no foolin….
God is in control and declares the validity of His Word to you to live by. He is the God of love and mercy, and great. But HE will not be mocked by the fools who do not believe in Him and those who try to present Him in watered down versions of religion in the Laodicean Church Age we are experiencing today.
In our hurried rushing wind lives where doctrines are continuing to spring up all over the place as they have and will do from the beginning of time; we must stand especially during our Christian Celebration of the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb.
2 Timothy 3:16
King James Version (KJV)
16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
King James Version (KJV)
12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Don’t be fooled by the World that denies the Word of God or His existence. Don’t get caught up in excitement and forget the original goal set. Don’t let perceptions cover up the message or distort the work that is being done to help save a dying work that the Lord our God created and has full reign over.
If you’re wondering how this has to do with life in general and especially the people you live and work with. Imagine telling someone who you can’t trust their work or way of thinking, because you know they don’t believe in God. These days, you just can’t do that because it has been made to be against the law. But what you can do it this; you can choose to balance your interactions with believers and non believers so your heart can handle the strain. Just don’t allow yourself to miss the message/purpose of the whirlwind excitement created by God for HIS purpose is first, not yours.
Have a good week. Enjoy your day with your family, friends, and especially with God during a day of rest. Cus, MOnday morning work busy week comes far too soon.
Get ready and make your week exciting!
